   A life of adventures

Lord Pothamyus Edward Paddings III, IX Duke of Paddings, was born on 18 November 1907 at Windsor, London. His father, Rodhius Albert, VIII Duke of Paddings, was a handsome furry badger, and his mother, Leonice Wilelmina Sweetflower, a young lioness with a soft hazel-coloured mohair coat. The only offspring of the noble Paddings family, from when he was little more than a furry hippo calf, young Pothamyus showed a distinctly adventurous streak and an incurable yearning for historical and scientific mysteries.

As early as 1922, in fact, in the company of the celebrated
archaeologist Howard Carter, he was present in Egypt at the discovery of the famous “missing tomb”. Pothamyus’s life of adventure and overwhelming expeditions to all four corners of the globe thus started at a very early age. Among other exploits, he can be attributed with the identification of the lost continent of Atlantis, the explanation of the mystery of Easter Island, or the discovery of the pirate Blackbeard’s treasure, not to mention his part in memorable enterprises like the first transoceanic flight or the first manned mission to the moon.

A distinguished and erudite scholar, relentless daredevil and noted adventurer, Lord Pothamyus Paddings soon became a society celebrity, present at hundreds of scientific conferences, cultural debates, public ceremonies and gala meetings. Constantly engrossed by his passion for adventure and the enigmas of the past, always in the move between mysterious jungles and the icy Antarctic wastes, with occasional trips to London or Paris, Lord Paddings, having retired from public life some years ago, now seems to be back in action with a new adventure that will certainly not fail to amaze.

Lord Paddings is back
in action!

After several years away from the scene, Lord Paddings finally returns in an adventure packed with suspense, mystery, puzzles and surprises.
