The new adventure

   The characters

It seems that, together with Lord Paddings, many others play an important role in this new adventure.

Camilla and Mattia, firstly, brother and sister aged around eleven and twelve, with very different characters. While Camilla likes everything that’s action and entertainment (she’s almost unbeatable in every sport), Mattia, quieter and more given to reflection, prefers reading, study and knowledge. During the adventure they also assume false identities.

Uncle Tullio, the children’s official accompanier. Often with his
head in the clouds, he does his best to give a hand, although he’s always busy trying to find drinks and sandwiches, and dreaming of Miriana, the hairdresser to whom he never has the courage to declare himself.

The wise Petunia, with very sophisticated tastes and particularly elegant. Apparently it’s Petunia, an old friend of the famous Lord, who sets in motion the riotous adventures of this story.

Hans Josef Goodenstein, Viennese cellist of monumental proportions and companion of adventure of Lord Paddings. It seems he’s very personally involved in this affair.

Then there are also some terrible villains who take part in the events of the story.

Baron Federico Ruggero Lesmainvierges. Enormously rich, despicable and cruel, he desires the secret of imagination more than anything else in the world. Determined to stop the furry Lord at any cost, he has even formed his own private army to serve him. Could it really be that he’s missed his target?

Fido Fedele, robust underling of the Baron and ruthless general of his private army. Unfortunately, the sort of person who has no problem in shooting two children in a crowded square.

Gherard Achtungwiessen, German scholar on the track of the secret for the Baron. The first person, it seems, who realizes where it’s hidden. And perhaps he might even be double-dealing his employer.

A mysterious girl. We don’t know who she is, or who she works for, or what she’s thinking. What’s certain is that she wants the secret. But can we trust her?

The book with the full story of everything that happens is almost ready. And, although none of the characters has given their permission, soon it’ll be possible to read it. We can only hope it will answer all the questions posed by this new exploit of Lord Paddings.
